Base31
Base31 is PEC’s newest cultural destination built on a former Second‑World‑War air‑training base. The 70‑acre site hosts concerts, markets, art shows and historic tours. It is part of a 750‑acre development with restaurants, parks and a future museum

Lake on the Mountain
A natural curiosity with a constant flow of clean, fresh water, 60 metres above Lake Ontario. Enjoy picnics, views, hiking and more at this day-use park in Prince Edward County.

Macaulay Mountain Conservation Area
A 440‑acre forested reserve with roughly 7 kilometres of hiking and mountain‑biking trails. It’s also home to “Birdhouse City,” where dozens of whimsical birdhouses replicate local buildings. The terrain makes it popular with hikerrs, cyclists and nature lovers.

Little Bluff Conservation Area
A quieter spot featuring a rugged limestone bluff overlooking Prince Edward Bay. A short trail leads to a pebble beach sheltered by the bluff, offering stunning vistas and opportunities for birdwatching.

Sandbanks Provincial Park
Known for having one of the world’s largest baymouth barrier dune systems. The park boasts long, white‑sand beaches with shallow, warm waters perfect for families. Three beaches (Outlet, Dunes and Lakeshore) offer swimming, sunbathing, camping and picnic facilities.

Millennium Trail
A 46‑kilometre multi‑use path built on an abandoned railway line. Stretching from Carrying Place in the west to Picton in the east, it meanders through vineyards, farms, wetlands and small towns. The flat gravel surface is suitable for walking, cycling, horseback riding and snowmobiling.

Wellington Beach
A municipal beach in the village of Wellington featuring a sandy shoreline, boardwalk, picnic areas and washrooms. It’s a favourite spot for a quick swim or sunset stroll, and it connects to Millennium
